Hillsides 5th Annual Foster Soles, Celebrity Charity Auction, chaired by Dr. Drew Pinksy will be held on Wednesday, April 24th at BarCelona in Pasadena.

Celebrities Janet Jackson, George Lopez and Sugar Ray Leonard, along with Dr. Drew Pinsky of "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew," kicked off Hillsides Foster Soles, an online auction of celebrity autographed items and celebrity photograph, last year. Held during Foster Care Awareness Month, the online auction raised awareness of foster care issues. We asked celebrities to once again donate autographed shoes and clothing or other personalized accessories for the Fouth Annual Hillsides Foster Soles.
The kickoff event to launch the auction was held at BarCelona in Pasadena on Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Online auction ran from the date of the Kickoff Event through mid-May.
Hillsides, a Los Angeles foster care children's charity with 99 years of creating safe places, has garnered exceptional support from media. In previous years, we have received coverage from Extra, ABC's On the Red Carpet, newstations KCBS, KCAL, KTLA, KABC, MyFOX, TMZ.com, CocoPerez.com, IMBD.com, TV.com, and thousands of online outlets, generating more than 300,000 hits online. With 35,000 children receiving child welfare services in Los Angeles, Foster Soles raises awareness of issues facing these foster care kids and empowers the public to take action by bidding on your donated items and learning more about Hillsides.
