H100 What's Happening
Welcome to H100! We strive to offer many different ways to get involved so you can determine the level of participation that works for your schedule.
We have social events to raise cash donations that boost our ability to give the kids gifts and send them on fun outings, while also providing ways to donate your time wrapping gifts, assembling treats or planning an outing. All of your participation is greatly appreciated and helps in a big way. Have another idea on how to get involved? Contact Carrie Espinoza at or 323-543-2800, ext. 221.

Spring Social: Sunday, March 11, 2018,  Time TBD
Our newest event! H100 wants to give you a family opportunity to come together and "bridge the gap" between seeing you at the Fall Social and our summer Farm to Table events. We'll have a venue with dates and times very shortly! Stay tuned. Complimentary to members and invited guests.
Farm to Table: Sunday, June 24, 2018, 6:30pm. Location is at a private estate residence
Each year H100 celebrates our togetherness in support of the Hillsides residents with an aim towards raising H100 awareness and improving membership. This event is typically held outdoors in the lovely backyard of an H100 or Hillsides' member or a local garden venue. Guests are invited to sip signature cocktails and enjoy light bites accompanied by soft, live entertainment in a beautiful setting. The delicious four-course meal that follows is a culinary delight of organic, fresh fare served family style and locally sourced from surrounding farms, markets and kitchens. This "friend-raiser" is our biggest event with opportunities to recommend friends to the group, purchase summer wishes for the kids and renew your H100 membership for the year. All member renewals receive discounted tickets to this event!

Fall Social: Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016, 6:30-9:00pm, Jones Coffee Roasters, 693 S. Raymond Ave., Pasadena
Enjoy the hip atmosphere of Jones coffee, mouth-watering pizza and appetizers from Pie Life Pizza, a bold glass of wine or a season-inspired coffee.
H100 members and invited guests gather each Fall to mix with friends in support of the 12 Hillsides kids it supports in foster care. Listen to a short program about Hillsides, usually from a child of Hillsides or an invited guest speaker. It's eye-opening to hear that often our traumatized youth have received minimal parental support, nor ever received a seasonal gift until arriving at Hillsides.
This is our main fund raising event of the year covering (4) personal Christmas wishes for each child, new bedding, personalized holiday stockings and gift cards opened together, family-style at a special holiday house party.
Additional funds raised ensure that each child also receives Valentine's treats and special outings throughout the year. This event is complimentary to members and invited guests, so if you haven't renewed for the year,
this event is the perfect time. Membership is $100/household and is due annually by July 1st.
